In a flag off ceremony this afternoon, Minister Pu R. Lalzirliana sent off delegates from Mizoram to participate in the NorthEast Olympic Games 2.0, hosted by Meghalaya.
About 3000 participants from the NorthEast states are expected to compete in 18 disciplines at 12 venues spread across Shillong.
The delegates representing the Mizoram Olympic Association will [reportedly] be competing in archery, badminton, basketball, cycling, football, golf, judo, karate-do, shooting, swimming, table tennis, tennis, wushu, weight lifting and wrestling.
