4 Mizo boxers- Lalrinsanga Tlau, NT Lalbiakkima, HC John Kenty Vanhlimpuia and Laldingliana will fight in the upcoming Professional bout to be held in Dubai on February 26th. The fight will be available for viewers on Zonet Cable TV using the pay per view system.
Each boxer will have a share from the PPV along with the purse money. Lalrinsanga- $3100+ 8% of the ppv NT Biakkima- $3000+7% of the ppv John Kenty- $1500+ 7% of the ppv Laldingliana- $1000+ 2% of the ppv
The four boxers are all set to face professional boxers from Pakistan in this upcoming event. Commenting on the skills of their opponents, NT Lalbiakkima said, "I've been watching and studying the fights of these boxers from YouTube and they are really good at what they do. It will not be an easy task to beat them."
Navy boxer John Kenty will face Muhammad Qahir in this fight which will also be his first professional fight. Kenty has made several appearances on the national level and even represented India at the International level. He has bagged the silver in the Senior India National and 2 gold in the Inter Services Tournament.
WBC Youth Champion 2021 Lalrinsanga Tlau took down Georgian boxer Beruashivili in his previous fight and has a professional record of 6W 0L 0D. Sangtea will fight Muhammad Sikandar Abbasi in the upcoming event.
IBA Interantional Champion, NT Lalbiakkima will face Pakistani boxer Fida Muhammad. In 2018, NT made a feat by defeating the World No. 1 and Olympic Champion. Laldingliana has a professional boxing record of 2W 0L 0D. He was the champion in the LPS Profight Bantam Weight and bagged a bronze in the National Youth Boxing Championship.
