In the celebration function of the MNF Diamond Jubilee held at Kolasib yesterday, Chief Minister Zoramthanga, President of the MNF party declared that the Socio- Economic Development Policy (SEDP) will be put into motion in the new financial year where more than 60,000 families will receive Rs. 40,000-50,000 each.
The SEDP is a flagship programme of the ruling MNF party which aims to provide sustainable development by accelerating progress in key sectors through exploration and judicious use of resources and maintaining equality and equity among the citizens.
The CM further advised the party unit leaders to scout and specifically select the families and individuals who will receive the SEDP fund.
