On account of the new rise in Covid-19 cases, the state government of Mizoram conducted random testing at Millenium Centre, Aizawl today. The random test drive was conducted using Rapid Antigen Test (RagT) where 19 new positive cases were detected out of 136 tested samples.
The random testing is scheduled to be continued throughout this week till 21 January in different parts of the city from 11:00 AM- 3:00 PM. The next testing centre will be set up at Zion Street, Dawrpui, Bara Bazar, Thuampui Bus Terminal and Falkland Park. According to the latest record, Mizoram stands at 7590 positive cases and 572 Covid deaths.
