Zoram People's Movement wins the Mizoram General Assembly Elections 2023, securing 27 seats out of 40.
The Zoram People's Movement was founded in 2017 as an alliance movement between seven parties, some of whom would later on leave the alliance when the movement was officially reformed and registered as a political party in 2019.
ZPM contested the 2018 General Assembly Elections 2023 as an alliance and secured 8 opposition seats. This year's win marks the first election victory in the party's history.
