In official letters sent to Mizoram's two biggest cable TV operators, Doordarshan Aizawl states that it has observed the removal of DD Sports channel from both Zonet and LPS Vision's prime bands, depriving thousands of viewers of their right to watch the channel.
The letter also stresses that this is a violation of The Cable TV Act and requests the operators to resume telecast of DD Sports and other mandatory channels.
