Lalnunsanga, one of the most celebrated stand-up comedians in mizo entertainment industry passed away today at around 12:35 PM in the early noon. The 43 year old comedian was hospitalized for several days and even admitted to the ICU after a an accident. His condition worsened since yesterday and tragically succumbed to his injury today.
Lalnunsanga was the winner of the 2013 Comedian Search, and later became one of the popular faces of the show. "He was truly one of the brightest stars in Mizo comedy...his name will not be forgotten in the history of Mizo entertainment," said H. Lalrotluanga (Mapuia) on social media.
The Mizo community deeply mourns his demise as he was a well-loved comic and a significant member of the FTH family.
