In a new SOP issued by the Govt. of Mizoram today, final semester students of Higher & Technical institutions are to start offline classes while following strict safety protocols.
Recently, the students' union in different colleges and universities in the state have made an appeal to the government to make arrangements for offline classes for college and university students. The new SOP stated that the Education Department will draft an SOP to be strictly followed by students and teachers attending offline classes. Other classes with the exception of Class X and XII will continue classes via online mode. Students, teachers and non- teaching staffs attending thr institutions will be required to complete the full dose vaccination. Hostels affiliated to these institutions will also be open for students.
